Torrents are very common these days and we all use different softwares on our PC to download torrents of our choice and requirement. u-Torrent is probably the mostly used client. What if I have a smart phone and high speed internet is available to me, may be via my wi-fi. I would really like to download the torrent files right on my mobile. So SymTorrent is there to download your torrent into memory card of your mobile phone.

This application was originally designed for S60 3rd edition but it works for S60 5th edition as well. I have successfully tested this application for Nokia5730, N97, 5800 and E71.  Using my Wi-Fi connection it works at the max speed as my computer does.

You can download it from the link given at the end of this post. Installation of this application is very simple like any other *.sis application. You just have to make sure that you install the application on your memory card. During installation phase it may issue a warning that this application is not compatible to your handset. It was shown when I installed over 5800 but it worked fine.

I would not recommend you downloading heavy files using this software. As shown in the display, I had downloaded a full movie using this software but that causes extra load on your device. Battery is used in excess and drains very quickly. And your phone may get heated up due to excess processing by the phone.

Another fact that you must consider is that this application does not support searching the torrent file. So you need to download the torrent file first and then load into this application to actually download your file. You can either use MiniNova or IsoHunt to find the torrent.
